In a landmark step toward strengthening ties between academia and industry, the Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) has initiated a strategic partnership with the Newports Institute of Communication & Economics.
A high-level PRBC delegation, led by Chairman Sohail Shamim Firpo and Advisor & COO Atif Farooqi, met with Dr Huma Bukhari, Chairperson of Newports Institute, to discuss opportunities for collaboration. The talks focused on building strong linkages in business education, innovation, and entrepreneurship as part of PRBC’s two-decade mission to expand bilateral cooperation.
The proposed partnership is set to equip students with practical skills while creating new avenues for business growth. It also seeks to strengthen Pakistan-Romania relations through knowledge-sharing and joint initiatives.
“This meeting marks a significant step towards bridging academia and industry, unlocking new opportunities for our youth and businesses,” said Atif Farooqi. “We look forward to fruitful collaborations that drive mutual growth and prosperity for Pakistan and Romania.”
