The Education Authority Lahore has initiated disciplinary proceedings against several private schools accused of reopening in violation of government directives. Officials confirmed that show-cause notices have been issued to the administrations of these institutions, requiring them to submit written explanations and attend personal hearings.
According to reports, the institutions facing action include Lyceum School GT Road, Honors Kindergarten School GT Road, and Beaconhouse School’s Boys and Girls Campus in Township. Notices have also been served to Beaconhouse branches in Gulberg and Johar Town, Allied School near Railway Headquarters, MUKAF Learning Campus near Metro Station, The Punjab School Canal Garden, Dimension School, and The Educators Sehar Campus.
The Education Authority stated that these schools resumed operations despite clear instructions to remain closed, potentially undermining uniform compliance with public policy. Authorities have warned that further penalties could be imposed depending on the schools’ responses during the hearings.
