Punjab Education Boards Set for Digital Exam Rollout

The Punjab government has approved a major shift towards digital examinations across all provincial education boards to modernize the assessment system.

Announced on Thursday, the reform initiative aims to enhance transparency, accuracy, and public trust in examinations. The rollout begins with a comprehensive briefing and training session organized by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on December 13th. Representatives from all boards in Punjab are scheduled to participate.

Muzammil Mahmood, Chairman of the Task Force Committee for Boards, stated that significant digital measures are now underway. “These steps will provide transparency, accuracy, and trust to the examination system,” he said.

In preparation for the transition, BISE Lahore has mandated the attendance of key technical staff. The board’s spokesperson, Tahir Javed, confirmed that system analysts and computer programmers have been instructed to attend the crucial training session.
