Punjab Extends Winter Holidays Until January 16

The Higher Education Department (HED) of Punjab has officially extended winter holidays for all public and private universities and colleges across the province. According to a notification reported by 24News, campuses will now remain closed until January 16, providing students and faculty additional respite amid the ongoing winter season.

As per the department’s directive, academic activities will resume on January 19. Authorities have clarified that the extension of holidays will not impact the examination schedule, and all tests and exams will be conducted according to the previously announced academic calendar.
