The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training & Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has unveiled a comprehensive Teachers Verification Program set to begin in November 2025 across the province. The initiative aims to elevate educational standards by confirming that all educators in both public and private schools hold authentic qualifications.
Under the program, PECTAA will develop a centralized, digital database of verified teachers to support strategic planning, targeted professional training, and informed policy-making. The system will also help identify and remove individuals employed with fraudulent or inadequate credentials.
The verification process will unfold in two phases to ensure precision and transparency. In Phase 1, commencing November 2025, teachers will be required to upload scanned copies of essential documents—academic certificates from Matric to Master’s level, professional teaching qualifications (B.Ed., M.Ed.), CNIC or B-Form, and proof of experience—through an official online portal.
Phase 2 will involve physical verification for cases flagged during the online review due to inconsistencies, missing information, or suspected fraud. Teachers who successfully clear both stages will receive an official teaching license or certification from PECTAA.
To ensure a seamless process, PECTAA has issued detailed guidelines for educators, urging them to prepare clear scanned copies of their documents in advance and to use only the official portal for submission. The authority has warned against engaging unauthorized third parties claiming to offer registration assistance, emphasizing that any delay or failure in verification could affect employment and career advancement.

All verified teachers will receive formal confirmation or certification from PECTAA, marking their inclusion in the province’s official digital registry. District education offices have been instructed to conduct awareness sessions to help educators navigate the new verification process efficiently.
