Riphah International University (RIU) successfully organized two major international academic events—the 5th International Conference on Rehabilitation Sciences (ICRS) and the 2nd International Conference on Allied Health Sciences (ICAHS)—from October 3 to 5, 2025, at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.
Themed “Community-oriented Outcome-based Research and Practice,” the conferences brought together more than 3,000 delegates, including 135 national and 40 international speakers from 17 countries, highlighting Riphah University’s growing global influence in health sciences education and research.
Ahead of the conferences, a remarkable 55 workshops were conducted. Among them, 27 were led by international experts, training over 500 participants, while 30 national workshops engaged 750 participants. Additionally, four professional certificate courses provided advanced skill-building opportunities to 120 participants.
The three-day event featured 205 research dialogues, 96 oral lectures, and 108 scientific presentations, fostering academic exchange and innovation.
Distinguished international keynote speakers from the USA, UK, Australia, Switzerland, Ireland, Malaysia, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Japan, Oman, Egypt, Russia, and Nigeria shared their insights alongside prominent Pakistani experts from leading universities, research centers, and healthcare institutions.

The conferences culminated in over 100 industrial and academic collaborations, marking a major milestone in advancing interdisciplinary research and strengthening Pakistan’s role in the global healthcare and rehabilitation sciences community.
