Sahiwal University Shines on National Stage with HEC Award

In a proud moment for the University of Sahiwal, Dr Waris Ali, Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, has been awarded the Higher Education Commission (HEC)’s Best Young Researcher Award 2025. The honor recognizes Dr Ali’s exceptional contributions to academic research and innovation in higher education.

The prestigious award was presented by Prof Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, Chairman of HEC, at a formal ceremony attended by leading scholars, academic administrators, and dignitaries from across the country. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Javaid Akhtar, along with Dr Muhammad Ayyoub, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), joined faculty, staff, and students in congratulating Dr Ali.
