The University of Sahiwal conducted an important Selection Board meeting aimed at strengthening its academic faculty across multiple departments, including Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, English, Business Administration, and Economics. The session was jointly presided over by Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and Prof Dr Javaid Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of the University of Sahiwal.
All permanent members of the Selection Board were in attendance, including Malik Qasim Nadeem, Member Provincial Assembly; Prof Dr Muhammad Arshad from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST); Prof Dr Farhat Jabeen from Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF); and Syed Ghulam Ali Asghar, Registrar, who served as the Secretary of the Board.

The meeting also brought together prominent professors and subject experts from leading universities across Pakistan. Their participation ensured a transparent, merit-based, and comprehensive evaluation process for the selection of new faculty members. The university leadership expressed confidence that the newly selected educators will contribute significantly to academic excellence and departmental growth in the coming years.
