Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) has announced admissions for its MS, M.Phil, and PhD programs for the 2026 academic year, inviting candidates from across the country to apply for a wide array of disciplines. The announcement, issued through the university’s Directorate of Postgraduate Studies on Sunday, outlines a comprehensive range of opportunities aimed at strengthening advanced education and research.
According to the official circular, applicants can submit their forms online through the university’s official portal, making the process accessible and streamlined for prospective students. The university is offering postgraduate degrees under multiple faculties, including Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Education, reflecting its multidisciplinary academic structure.
Among the key subject areas open for admission are Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration, Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Media Studies, International Relations, Sociology, Political Science, and Teacher Education. University officials indicated that while seats are limited across all programs, comparatively higher enrollment capacity has been allocated to high-demand fields such as Computer Science and Business Administration.
Eligibility criteria require candidates applying for MS or M.Phil programs to have completed at least 16 years of education in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 50 percent marks or a second division from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The university aims to attract academically strong candidates who can contribute to research and innovation in their respective fields.
