The University of Sargodha (UoS) and University of Setif1–Ferhat Abbas, Algeria, have entered into an Intent of Cooperation (IoC) to strengthen academic and research collaboration.
The agreement was signed by Prof Dr Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, Director of Setif 1 University, and Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas, Vice Chancellor UoS, in the presence of senior faculty members and officials from both institutions.
The cooperation will include faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, access to analytical facilities, and the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas termed the agreement a milestone in the university’s internationalization journey, reaffirming UoS’s commitment to global academic partnerships that foster innovation, research excellence, and quality education.

He noted that the university continues to make significant strides in building strong international linkages to prepare students and researchers for global challenges.
