Shandong University (SDU) has established a dedicated Pakistan Study Centre, marking a significant step in expanding academic and research collaboration between China and Pakistan. The move underscores the broadening of bilateral relations beyond traditional areas like trade and infrastructure into education and people-to-people exchange.
The centre is designed to foster mutual understanding and sustained cooperation through joint research initiatives, student and scholar exchanges, and policy dialogues. It will place special emphasis on agriculture and fisheries—key sectors for both nations—while also providing Pakistani students with international exposure and assisting Chinese institutions in enhancing their global research footprint.
