Police have arrested a man accused of sexually harassing a school teacher in the Ferozewala area of Sheikhupura, following widespread public outrage over a viral video.
The incident gained immediate attention after footage circulated on social media platforms. The video reportedly showed the suspect committing an indecent act against a veiled woman walking on the street before quickly fleeing.
Following the social media uproar, in which users demanded swift action and strict punishment, the Punjab Police launched an immediate operation. The Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell later confirmed the arrest on X (formerly Twitter), assuring the public that the suspect is now in police custody.
