UMT Celebrates Major Leap in THE Rankings 2026

The University of Management and Technology (UMT) has achieved a major international milestone by securing the 184th position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026, strengthening Pakistan’s presence in global academia and marking a significant achievement for the country’s private higher education sector.

The ranking underscores UMT’s progress in research excellence, academic innovation and interdisciplinary development. The University’s strong performance reaffirms its growing international reputation and competitive standing among leading global institutions.

President and Chairman UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad congratulated the faculty, researchers, students and the wider UMT community, stating that the accomplishment reflects the institution’s sustainable research policies and strategic academic direction.
