UMT Chairman Meets IJT Leadership to Discuss Higher Education

Chairman of the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Ibrahim Hasan Murad, met with the central leadership of Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) Pakistan to discuss Pakistan’s higher education landscape, student welfare, and the intellectual and moral development of youth.

The meeting brought together Sahibzada Wasim Haider, President of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan, and Ibrahim Hasan Murad for a detailed exchange of views on the challenges facing students and the opportunities for strengthening the country’s higher education sector.

The discussion focused on improving the quality of higher education, addressing issues confronting university students, and fostering an academic environment that encourages critical thinking, ethical values, and leadership among young people. Both sides emphasized the need for continued engagement among educational institutions and student representatives to promote academic excellence and national development.

Ibrahim Hasan Murad highlighted the importance of empowering students through quality education, innovation, and character building, noting that universities have a vital role in preparing future leaders capable of contributing positively to society.

The participants also exchanged views on the evolving educational landscape in Pakistan and explored ways to encourage meaningful dialogue on issues affecting students and higher education institutions.

The meeting was attended by Abuzar Ghaffari, Secretary General of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan, Abdullah bin Abbas, Nazim Lahore, and Hasanat Ahmad Dogar, Central Secretary Information of IJT Pakistan.
