Trainee officers from the 53rd Common Training Program of the Civil Services Academy visited the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Lahore, where President UMT and former provincial minister Ibrahim Hassan Murad delivered an engaging and thought-provoking session on leadership and governance.
Murad briefed the young officers on key aspects of effective administration, highlighting the importance of policy-making, institutional reforms and modern governance practices. He stressed that newly inducted civil servants form the backbone of national progress, as their decisions directly impact public welfare, transparency and the overall performance of state institutions.
He urged the officers to prioritize justice, transparency and a strong sense of public service throughout their careers, stating that Pakistan’s economic and administrative challenges can be addressed only through professional, capable and visionary civil servants committed to excellence.
