UoE Lahore Approves Budget for 2025-26

The University of Education (UoE) Lahore, has approved its annual budget of approximately Rs. 4.5 billion for the financial year 2025-26 during its 75th Syndicate meeting held at the Main Campus, Township. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry and marked key institutional advancements, including the regularization of 32 contractual employees and the approval of faculty promotions under the Tenure Track System (TTS).

In his address to the Syndicate members, Prof. Dr. Chaudhry provided an overview of the university’s academic achievements and expanding global footprint. He emphasized the significance of strategic partnerships and revealed that several MoUs had been signed with national and international organizations to bolster faculty and student development.

Among the highlighted initiatives was the UE-UPSIGN STEAM WORKSHOP 2025, conducted in collaboration with UPSIGN UK, aimed at equipping faculty members with contemporary pedagogical skills. The Vice Chancellor also noted the rising enrollment figures, with nearly 50,000 students—including international enrollees—across UoE’s campuses in Punjab, underscoring the institution’s growing reputation.

Furthermore, the university has made strides in technological integration, with smart classrooms established across multiple divisions, supported by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. These spaces are now hubs for regular training workshops that align with global academic standards.
