In a major step toward digital transformation, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) to streamline the document verification process for IBCC attestation. This initiative eliminates the need for students to physically submit verification documents in sealed envelopes, making the attestation process more efficient and accessible.
Under this new system, students applying for verification at BISE Mardan will have their data directly accessible to IBCC once verified by the board. This advancement allows students to apply for IBCC attestation online via the IBCC Attestation Portal, significantly reducing the time and effort required for the process.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof Jehan Zeb, Chairman of BISE Mardan, and Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC Islamabad. Prof Jehan Zeb highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating, “This partnership will modernize our verification system, allowing students to save time and effort while ensuring the authenticity of their academic records. It is a significant step toward enhancing service delivery in the education sector.”
Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah emphasized IBCC’s commitment to leveraging technology for student facilitation. “Our goal is to digitize and simplify document verification and attestation processes, ensuring transparency and efficiency. By eliminating logistical hurdles, we are making these services more accessible, particularly for students in remote areas,” he stated.
This collaboration is part of BISE Mardan’s broader strategy to digitize educational services and enhance accessibility for students. The introduction of an online verification and attestation system is expected to expedite procedures, remove logistical challenges, and make document authentication easier than ever.
