China-Pak Vocational Collaboration Trains Over 400 in Key Skills

Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College (YLRVC) in China, in collaboration with the Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) of Pakistan, recently concluded five short-term vocational training sessions.

More than 400 participants attended the sessions at the China-Pakistan Resource and Environmental International College, held in recent weeks.

The training was part of the joint China-Pakistan dual-degree vocational education program, as reported by China Economic Net (CEN) on Tuesday.

Key areas covered included workplace etiquette, cross-border e-commerce, and financial management, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of Pakistani youth, boosting their career prospects and cross-cultural communication.

This initiative further strengthens Sino-Pakistani cooperation in vocational education and talent development.

Since its inception in 2023, the China-Pakistan Resource and Environmental International College has enrolled 24 international students in geological surveys and mineral exploration, and 17 in engineering surveying.

The latest training marks the second phase of online vocational training for overseas youth under the China-Pakistan program, bringing the total number of trained participants to nearly 800.

Using an international cloud education platform, the programs aim to develop local talent with both theoretical and practical skills to serve international enterprises.
