The Government College University Hyderabad (GCUH) has introduced an exciting opportunity tailored for young individuals hailing from low-income households through the launch of the two-year English Access Micro Scholarship Program.
In partnership with the United States (US) Embassy in Islamabad, this educational initiative is designed to empower underprivileged youth by elevating their proficiency in the English language.
Open to both male and female candidates aged 13 to 16, the program offers a distinctive platform to cultivate language skills crucial for both academic advancement and personal development.
The program’s classes are conveniently scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., accommodating students with diverse daily routines.
Prospective candidates have until August 23rd to submit their applications, with selection interviews slated for August 28th.
The English Access Micro Scholarship Program equips participants with valuable English skills that could translate into improved employment opportunities and enhanced educational prospects.
Moreover, the English Access Microscholarship Programs give participants English skills that may lead to better jobs and educational prospects. Participants also gain the ability to compete for and participate in future exchanges and study in the United States.. Since its inception in 2004, this Program has engaged approximately 150,000 students across more than 80 countries.
