The former provincial minister and Founder of Volunteers Leading Governance (VLG) led a 130-member delegation of University of Management and Technology (UMT) students and VLG volunteers to Kartarpur Gurdwara, where they were warmly welcomed by Punjab’s Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora.
The visit of Ibrahim Murad at Kartarpur carried a strong message of solidarity. Speaking to the delegation, he emphasized that the trip was not just symbolic but a call to action for the youth of Pakistan. “In this testing time, we will not leave our flood-affected brothers and sisters alone,” he stated, urging young people to embrace the values of service, brotherhood, and compassion. He added that the active involvement of youth is essential for building a brighter and more resilient Pakistan.
Minister Ramesh Singh Arora praised the initiative, calling it a remarkable example of interfaith harmony and unity. He noted that, under the direction of the Chief Minister Punjab, the provincial cabinet is directly supervising flood relief operations. He further acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Army and rescue teams for their tireless efforts in Kartarpur Sahib.
