In a powerful gesture of compassion and unity, Ibrahim Murad at Kartarpur stood alongside flood-affected families, reaffirming his commitment to humanitarian service and interfaith harmony. The former provincial minister and Founder of Volunteers Leading Governance (VLG) led a 130-member delegation of University of Management and Technology (UMT) students and VLG volunteers to Kartarpur Gurdwara, where they were warmly welcomed by Punjab’s Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora.

The visit of Ibrahim Murad at Kartarpur carried a strong message of solidarity. Speaking to the delegation, he emphasized that the trip was not just symbolic but a call to action for the youth of Pakistan. “In this testing time, we will not leave our flood-affected brothers and sisters alone,” he stated, urging young people to embrace the values of service, brotherhood, and compassion. He added that the active involvement of youth is essential for building a brighter and more resilient Pakistan.

Minister Ramesh Singh Arora praised the initiative, calling it a remarkable example of interfaith harmony and unity. He noted that, under the direction of the Chief Minister Punjab, the provincial cabinet is directly supervising flood relief operations. He further acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Army and rescue teams for their tireless efforts in Kartarpur Sahib.

The presence of Ibrahim Murad at Kartarpur with students and volunteers was not only about providing moral support to flood victims but also about promoting the spirit of inclusivity and coexistence. Arora expressed gratitude to Ibrahim Murad, highlighting his long-standing bond with UMT and the positive role of VLG volunteers. He also announced plans to engage VLG members in future visits of Sikh pilgrims, ensuring that youth continue to play a vital role in fostering interfaith dialogue and humanitarian service.
