Pakistan and Kazakhstan Boost Academic Ties at NUTECH Summit

Pakistan and Kazakhstan have stepped up efforts to enhance educational collaboration by hosting a joint “Study in Kazakhstan” education fair and Vice Chancellors’ Summit at Islamabad’s National University of Technology (NUTECH). The event, organized under the Higher Education Commission (HEC), saw a high-profile Kazakh delegation engage with Pakistani academia to promote student exchanges and institutional partnerships.

A delegation of 25 rectors and senior officials from top Kazakh universities showcased various degree programs, scholarships, and collaborative opportunities, attracting significant participation from Pakistani vice chancellors, academics, and students.

HEC Chairman Mukhtar Ahmed highlighted the value of strengthening Pakistan-Kazakhstan educational ties, urging students to explore global learning experiences for mutual growth. Attendees had the chance to interact directly with Kazakh university representatives, discussing academic prospects and potential research collaborations.

The summit ended with both nations pledging to deepen academic exchanges, joint research projects, and cultural cooperation, marking a new chapter in bilateral educational relations.
