Sindh Govt Announces SEEF Scholarships 2024-25

The Sindh Government has announced the opening of scholarship applications for the 2024–2025 academic year through the Sindh Educational Endowment Fund (SEEF) Trust. This program is designed to support financially disadvantaged but academically capable students seeking higher education in public and private universities recognized by SEEF across the province.

The scholarship provides full tuition fee coverage for one academic year in a wide range of disciplines. These include medical fields such as MBBS, BDS, DPT, pharmacy, and nursing; all branches of engineering; agriculture and veterinary sciences (DVM); as well as information technology, social sciences, business, law (LLB), and media sciences.

Applicants must be permanent residents of Sindh and hold a valid domicile. They should be enrolled in an institution approved by SEEF for the 2024–25 session and must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or 60% marks. Proof of income is mandatory, either through FBR verification or salary slips for government employees, and applicants must fall within SEEF’s prescribed income brackets.

The scholarship is distributed based on a quota system determined by family income. Eighty percent of the scholarships are reserved for students whose families earn less than PKR 1.5 million annually. Ten percent are allocated to those earning between PKR 1.5 and 2.5 million, while the remaining ten percent go to families earning above PKR 2.5 million per year. Additionally, there are special reservations including 86 percent for poor and meritorious students, 2 percent for minorities and individuals with special needs, and 5 percent for orphans and children of government employees.

Applicants who are enrolled in unapproved or self-financed programs, already benefiting from another scholarship, or who submit incomplete, fake documents or have poor academic performance, are not eligible to apply.

Applications must be submitted online via the SEEF portal at https://seef.sindh.gov.pk by July 31, 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
