Hundreds of students converged on Maulana Shoukat Ali Road in Lahore on Sunday to beautify the city’s walls through artwork in a commendable effort undertaken under the aegis of Artistan Street Art Competition 2018.
Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist.” That cannot be closer to truth, as displayed by budding artists from across the country at the 7th Art Beat National Child Art Competition and Exhibition. This year’s themes – My Likes, My Dreams, My City, My Village – urged children to explore their inner voices to come up with works about what they liked, what they wanted to be and how they envisioned the environment and the people around them.
