The Sindh High Court in a historic verdict on Wednesday ordered all private education institutes in the province to exempt orphans from all kinds of school fee. Besides the fee exemption for orphans, the SHC also directed the provincial government to allocate 10 million for different orphanages in their jurisdiction, annually.
Parents across Sindh found much to rejoice on Monday morning as the Sindh High Court (SHC) restricted private schools in the province from hiking up school fees by more than five percent per year.
Putting days of unease and speculation to rest, the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday directed authorities to reopen Aisha Bawany College in Karachi. The court also directed law enforcement authorities to assist officials in getting the order implemented. Following the directives, the college was unlocked on Thursday and will remain in operation until a final verdict is passed in the case.
