Forman Christian College University (FCCU), in collaboration with the Formanite Alumni Association, hosted a prestigious “Forman Legacy Dinner” to celebrate the institution’s rich heritage and recognize the exceptional achievements of its distinguished alumni.
The elegant gathering brought together an influential community of former judges, senior civil servants, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals, reflecting the strong national and global impact of FCCU graduates across multiple sectors.
The event’s chief guest was Mohammadmian Soomro, a distinguished alumnus of FCCU. Addressing the audience, he fondly recalled his years at the institution and highlighted the vital role FCCU played in shaping his academic, personal, and professional journey. He praised the university for its enduring commitment to integrity, academic excellence, and leadership development.
One of the key highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards to Aezaz Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of Systems Limited, and Zafar Masud, President of The Bank of Punjab. Both recipients were honored for their outstanding professional accomplishments and significant contributions to Pakistan’s corporate and financial sectors.
Delivering the keynote address, Jonathan S. Addleton emphasized FCCU’s longstanding tradition of academic excellence, leadership, and service. He noted the remarkable influence of Formanite alumni worldwide and acknowledged their contributions across diverse professional fields.
The evening also featured an address by Farhan Aziz Khawaja, who commended FCCU’s legacy of nurturing leaders and its important role in strengthening public service and governance in Pakistan.
Several prominent alumni attended the event, including former Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and Jawwad S. Khawaja, along with leading figures from the legal, corporate, academic, and public sectors.
