The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially released a revised schedule for several major admission and recruitment tests that were postponed earlier this month, bringing relief to thousands of candidates awaiting clarity.
According to the latest announcement, the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), Higher Education Admission Test (HAT) for MS/MPhil and PhD programs, and the AML-CFT Recruitment Test will now be held on November 1 and 2, 2025. These tests were originally scheduled for October 11 and 12, 2025.
Similarly, the Law Admission Test (LAT) — a mandatory requirement for admission to LLB programs nationwide — has been rescheduled for November 9, 2025, moving from its previous date of November 2, 2025.
The postponement had earlier created uncertainty among a large number of students and job aspirants across the country. The new schedule offers much-needed assurance, allowing candidates to refocus their preparation and planning.
HEC has advised all prospective test-takers to stay updated through the official HEC website, where information regarding admit slips, test centers, and specific session details will be made available soon. Candidates are urged to carefully check their assigned dates, as the USAT, HAT, and AML-CFT tests will be conducted over a two-day period.
