Ibrahim Murad Greets China on 76th National Day

Former Provincial Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad extended warm felicitations to the leadership and people of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of their 76th National Day, praising the enduring bond between Pakistan and China as a beacon of peace, development and prosperity in the region.

In his message, Murad lauded China’s remarkable achievements in economic growth, defense capabilities, education, technology, and investment, describing them as a source of pride not only for China but also for the broader region. He said these successes stand as a guarantee of stability and advancement for Asia and beyond.

Highlighting the depth of Pakistan-China relations, Murad emphasized that the partnership is deeply rooted in history, characterized by strategic cooperation and mutual trust. He pointed to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a landmark project that has brought transformative economic benefits to both nations, directly impacting the lives of their citizens.

“China has always stood by Pakistan in challenging times, which is why our friendship is often described as higher than mountains, deeper than oceans, and sweeter than honey,” he remarked.

Murad further stressed that the Pak-China relationship is a shining model of regional cooperation, urging Pakistani youth to actively contribute to strengthening this fraternal bond in the years to come.
