The University of Kamalia (UKM) hosted Campus Discovery Day, providing students with a vibrant platform to showcase their academic, creative and practical skills through innovative projects, educational stalls, theatre performances and short films.
Students presented a diverse range of projects and ideas covering science, technology, arts, entrepreneurship and other disciplines. The stalls attracted significant interest from visitors, who appreciated the students’ creativity, practical work and innovative approaches.
The event was formally inaugurated by University of Kamalia Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Yasir Nawab. Faculty members, parents, media representatives and members of the local community attended the event in large numbers.
Theatre performances and short films presented by students were also well received by the audience. Faculty members briefed parents and guests about the university’s academic disciplines, degree programmes and educational opportunities.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Dr Yasir Nawab said the University of Kamalia seeks to move beyond textbook-based learning by preparing young people for the future through research, creative thinking, technology and practical skills. He said activities such as Campus Discovery Day also help strengthen the university’s relationship with the local community.
