UMT Hosts Corps IV Commander: A Powerful Call for Unity

In a significant event aimed at fostering national spirit and intellectual dialogue, Lieutenant General Syed Fayyaz Hussain Shah H.I(M), Corps IV Commander Lahore, visited the University of Management and Technology (UMT) on Wednesday. The distinguished military leader addressed students and faculty in a special interactive session that focused on themes of national resilience, strategic insight, and the role of youth in nation-building.

During his keynote address, Lt Gen Fayyaz Shah delved into the strategic dimensions of Marka-e-Haq, providing a comprehensive analysis of the global and regional implications of the recent Pakistan-India conflict. He hailed the success of Operation Bunyan Marsoos as a defining moment in Pakistan’s military history, crediting the nation’s collective unity, faith, and discipline for its victorious outcome.

“This operation is a testament to the courage and resolve of the people of Pakistan and our Armed Forces,” he remarked. “The world has witnessed the strength of a united Pakistan.”

General Shah also paid glowing tribute to the teaching fraternity, calling them the “true architects of the nation,” and acknowledged their role in shaping future generations. Addressing the youth, he underscored their pivotal role in steering the country through future challenges, saying, “An educated, skilled, and value-driven youth is Pakistan’s most valuable asset.”

The Corps Commander concluded with a resonant message of national solidarity: “Together, we must build a stronger and more secure Pakistan.”
