Punjab University Academic Staff Association and faculty members of Government College University Lahore on Wednesday organized a rally at Punjab University Old Campus to protest against the 50 percent cut in the budget of higher education.
A meeting of Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) Punjab Chapter was held in University of Engineering and Technology Lahore in which a large number of elected representatives from all Punjab participated. The crux of the meeting and press conference were to save higher education.
