The University of Karachi (KU) on Tuesday issued a security advisory for BA and B.Com exams starting from May 24 on campus.

In view of the recent security measures, it has been decided that students coming for examinations on foot can enter through Silver Jubilee Gate after showing their Admit Cards.

The advisory states that the students should try to use public transport or pick-and-drop service to get to the university. They could easily get to examination centers by the shuttle service being provided by the varsity.

In case of bringing a private vehicle, the students are directed to park their vehicles in the designated area at the Maskan Gate. In case of vehicle theft, the university administration will not be responsible.

The administration has arranged a shuttle service to take all the students to the examination centers which will be available at both the entrances Maskan Gate and Silver Jubilee Gate of the KU.

The students should try to arrive at the university one hour before the scheduled examination time so that they can easily reach the examination center after the required security check. In addition, the KU security advisory also directs that carrying a mobile phone or any internet device to the exams centers is strictly prohibited.

At the time of entry, the students should keep their ID cards, registration cards, and admit cards and present them at the request of the university security. Further, the students should follow the orders of the university security staff and avoid unnecessary discussion.
