A large number of college teachers staged a protest outside the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday against what they claimed were Punjab government’s anti-teacher policies . The protesting teachers gathered at The Mall and blocked it for hours in response to a call for protest given by Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA).
