LAHORE: Punjab Additional Chief Secretary Irum Bukhari visited Tollinton Market building and termed handicrafts as identity of Punjab province.

The Principal of the National College of Art (NCA) Dr Murtaza Jafri paid a visit to the Additional Chief Secretary and briefed about Tollinton Market’s work in progress.

Irum Bukhari, Additional Chief Secretary, lauded the efforts of NCA in reviving the dying tradition of handicrafts, textile and ceramics at the Tollinton Market, adjacent to Lahore Museum and National College of Arts.

“Tollinton block will be made a cultural center,” Additional Chief Secretary Irum Bukhari said.
