The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has announced fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students, offering opportunities to pursue Diplomas, Bachelors, Masters, and PhD programs within the Kingdom. Both Pakistani residents and legal residents of the Kingdom are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
According to the announcement on the official website of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Students are required to directly submit their applications through the official Saudi university website or online portal. Each university maintains its own set of eligibility criteria and application deadlines. Students need to refer to the university’s website to understand the eligibility requirements for each course or discipline.
These scholarships are available at diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels, covering a wide range of disciplines such as political science, law, education, administration, economics, engineering, computer science, agriculture, Arabic/Islamic studies, and media sciences. These scholarships are offered by 25 universities across the Kingdom.
Typically, each university is allowed to accept only 5 percent of international students, except for Princess Noor Binte Abdul Rehman University for Girls in Riyadh and Jamia Islamia Madinah Munawara. However, Princess Noor Binte Abdul Rehman University for Girls in Riyadh admits 8 percent of students on scholarships, while Jamia Islamia Madinah Munawara grants scholarships to 85 percent of the total seats.
Upon application submission, the university will forward the applications to the Saudi Ministry of Education, which holds the authority to decide on the final scholarship awards for eligible candidates. To facilitate follow-up with the Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia, and the respective university for the scholarship grant, applicants should share a copy of the submitted application with the official email of the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh: firstname.lastname@example.org.
