The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi’s School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) proudly announces the achievement of ‘W’ category accreditation for its BS Computer Science (BSCS) program by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). Earlier this year, a rigorous evaluation was conducted by the NCEAC inspection team, encompassing an in-depth assessment of the program against the council’s stringent standards. The meeting, attended by key figures including Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA; Dr. Shakeel Khoja, Dean of SMCS; Dr. Shahid Hussain, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department; and Dr. Sana Tauseef, Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), underscored IBA’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of education.
