GCWUS and USKT Sign Collaborative MOUs for Academic Advancement

Prof. Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi, Vice-Chancellor Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS), invited Mr. Faisal Manzoor, Chairman BoG University of Sialkot (USKT) and member syndicate of GCWUS, for devising a strategy for developing and further enhancing academic and research opportunities within the region as well as internationally for mutual progressive benefits.

The Worthy Vice Chancellor emphasized on collaborative approach and acknowledged the always positive and supportive approach of Mr. Faisal Manzoor. Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawaz, Director External Linkages, gave introduction of the university explaining its core strengths and available infrastructure. A double MOUs (Classic School System and University of Sialkot) were signed today to embark upon a fruitful journey of academic cohesion and research collaboration.

Mr. Faisal Manzoor said that Classic School System (CSS) is offering a state-of-the-art school education comparable to any big brand while acquiring half of the compensation charged by them. It is the first time that CSS has signed an agreement with any organization to offer special discount to the children of its employees, he said. This has only been done to honour the teaching fraternity by supporting the quality education aim of their children in affordable price, he further added.

As far as USKT is concerned, a special educational discount will also be offered to the students, faculty and staff of GCWUS who are intending to upgrade their education across all offered disciplines, he profoundly announced. While endorsing the collaborative approach as stated by Prof. Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi, he appreciated the positive progressive steps taken by her for the development of GCWUS in a short record time.

MOUs were signed in a very encouraging environment by Prof. Dr. Zarrin Fatima Rizvi and Mr. Faisal Manzoor and counter signed by Prof. Dr. Muahmmad Ashfaq, Director ORIC and Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawaz Manj, Director External Linkages duly witnessed by Deans, Heads of departments and Administrative Heads and Officers.
