2-days Adab Festival 2022 kicked off at Frere Hall

A 2-days Adab Festival 2022 is being organized at Frere Hall, Karachi where the chief guest federal minister for climate change (MoCC) Sherry Rehman, DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr Maqsood Ahmed and other renowned personalities attended and spoke on the first day of the festival.

The aim of Adab festival 2022 is to promote national and international literature and culture across the country, the participants are being entertained with interviews of famous personalities, book launches, dramas, comedies, concerts, dance, workshops, art, children’s programs and book fair.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Adab Fest was founded by Ameena Saiyid and Asif Farrukhi and currently is being held with the sponsorship of Habib University Karachi and British Council Pakistan.

On the occasion, DIG SESD Sindh Police Dr Maqsood Ahmed addressing the participants said that Sindh and Karachi police is ensuring to maintain law & order situation at any cost and such are the promotors of such public actions.

He added that the leadership of Sindh police is trying its best to bring modern changes in the department so a positive and soft image of police could be portrayed in the country and abroad as well.

A large number of citizens and school students participated on the first day of the 4th Adab Festival 2022.
