215 candidates caught using unfair means

As many as 215 candidates, allegedly involved using unfair means in the ongoing Higher Secondary School Certificate Exams 2021, were caught at various examination centers of Sukkur, Hyderabad, Larkana and Mirpur Khas divisions.

According to the press statement issued by the Universities and Boards Department on Thursday read that 46 aspirants who were attempting the HSSC exams instead of real candidates were also caught. The officials of the relevant have registered cases against those candidates.

However, while taking action against the examiners, the Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Department suspended eight invalidators. According to the statement, the Minister also took notice of the complaints regarding the illegal practice of bringing mobile phones to exam centers.

He said that he will personally monitor the assessment process across the province and will make sure to conduct transplant exams. “We are committed to eradicating cheating culture in the exams. The officials of all boards have been directed to take strict action against the candidates and examiners involved in using unfair means”
