Iqra University hosts a delegation from Finland

Iqra University (IU) hosted a delegation from Finland on the EDC Campus. The purpose of this visit was to develop educational collaboration between the two countries.

Diplomats from the Finland Consulate included H.E. Mr Hannu Ripatti (Ambassador of Finland to Pakistan), Mr Wille Eerola (Honorary Consul General of Pakistan to Finland), Ms Kristiina Heikkila (University of Turku), Mr Ari Koski (University of Turku), Ms Helena Makinen (Finnish Global Education Solutions) and Mr Antti Kaskinen (Finnish Global Education Solutions).

Finnish diplomats met Prof Dr Wasim Qazi (Vice Chancellor/ President Iqra University), Prof Dr Zaki Rashdi (Chairman Faculty of Business Administration Iqra University), Engr Dr Kamran Raza (Dean Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology Iqra University) and higher officials from Iqra University. Dr Mukhtar Ahmed (Chairman HEC), Engr Javed Ali Memon (Director HEC) were also present on the occasion.

Finnish Diplomats were given a tour of the Campus and shown the facilities provided by the University. They expressed satisfaction on the services offered and appreciated the efforts of Prof Dr Wasim Qazi (Vice Chancellor/ President Iqra University). Shield and Bouquet were presented to the Ambassador along with a group photo session of all the attendees.

Prof Dr Wasim Qazi (Vice Chancellor/ President Iqra University) thanked the Finnish diplomats and Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed (Chairman HEC) and other officials for giving the honor.
