KU announces BSc Occupational Therapy results

The University of Karachi (KU) on Friday declared the result of the Bachelor of Science (BSc) Occupational Therapy (OT), Part-I & II, Annual Examination 2019. The exam was held in 2021.

According to the gazette issued, 26 candidates were registered and appeared in the papers of which 25 students cleared the exams. The overall pass percentage was 96.15 percent.

For BSc Occupational Therapy, Part-II, Annual Examination 2019, 15 candidates were registered at KU and appeared in the papers and all of them cleared the exams. The overall pass percentage was 100 percent.

Occupational therapy (OT) is a branch of health care that helps people of all ages who have physical, sensory, or cognitive problems. OT can help them regain independence in all areas of their lives. Occupational therapists help with barriers that affect a person’s emotional, social, and physical needs.

Occupational therapy is practiced around the world and can be translated into practice in many different cultures and environments. The World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) is an international voice of the profession and is a membership network of occupational therapists worldwide.

The profession celebrates World Occupational Therapy Day on the 27th of October annually to increase visibility and awareness of the profession, promoting the profession’s development work on a local, national and international platform.
