MoHR announces scholarships for minorities students

The Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR), Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced scholarships for minorities students, said an official here on Monday.

According to the details, the aim of providing scholarships was to facilitate the minority communities’ students in high ranking universities in the country. The students can apply online till March 31, 2023 and get Rs 40,000. University students could apply for scholarships through their universities. The students who have shown satisfactory results will be given scholarships for their higher studies, he added.

PEEF recently has also announced 1000 scholarships for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) students. PEEF scholarships are for Intermediate and Graduation students who are enrolled in Educational Institutions. The scholarship is worth 75 Crore rupees. Students who have passed Matric or Inter exams in 2021 from a government institute in AJK are eligible to apply. The last date to apply for AJK Education Endowment Fund Scholarship is November 15, 2022.

Scholarships will only be accepted on the Scholarship 2022 form. The application form may be obtained from Secretariat Higher Education, Room No 4, Block 10, New Secretariat Complex. The scholarship Application form may also be downloaded from the above mentioned PEEF website.
