So, here are the top institutions in the business of business studies.

1. Harvard University

This is may not come as a surprise for many of us.  The Ivy League university was established in 1636 and Harvard Business School remains the top dog in the world when it comes to studying business and management. Harvard has an excellent reach output, around 22,272 students and a highly qualified academic staff of 4,542.

2. INSEAD

Founded in year 1957, INSEAD was outdone by Harvard only by a few points. Offering participants a truly global educational experience, the Business School for the World is a private graduate business school. The average emolument of INSEAD graduates ranges between $80k and 178k, which speaks volumes about the value the institution has for employers. It has a highly competent staff of 147 and offers MBA, Global Executive MBA, dual-degree EMBA, Executive Master in Finance and other programmes.

3. London Business School

Another name that is not unfamiliar to students who aspire to take business or management as a graduating subject is the LBS. Founded in 1964 in the heart of the world’ leading business hub, this public university offers MSc, MBA and EMBA. The enrollment for international students stands at 1,429 with an employability of 95% for its graduating students of Master’s in Management. LBS prides itself in the field of research and leadership initiatives.

4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

The MIT Sloan School of Management or just MIT Sloan is a leading business school despite being MIT more renowned for its engineering degrees. Although expensive, the school offers various funds and scholarship programs each year that attract international students. The academic programmes it offers are MBA, Master of Finance, and Business Analytics, Leaders for Global Operations and System Design and Management.\

5. University of Pennsylvania

University of Pennsylvania is another Ivy League school offering business and management courses to students. The average fee at the University of Pennsylvania is $52k-$54k.

 

6. Stanford University

Located in the Silicon Valley, this private university’s Graduate School of Business is among the top-rated schools for studying business and management. Established in 1925, the school offers MBA, MSx, PhD with research as its leading preference in all its programmes. The average expense at the school costs around $46k-$48k per annum.

 

7. University of Cambridge

Cambridge Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge was founded in 1990 and offers management education for its students. Holding a public status, the school offers a variety of programme that includes MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Finance (MFin), MPhil in Management, PhDs and Research Masters and Management Studies Tripos for undergraduates.

 

8. London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

The ranking for the 8th slot in the list remained a tie. The public university established in 1895 offers summer schools and online courses to international students apart from regular programmes. With both undergraduate and graduate degrees, the school with offers various programmes in finance, management and business and has a commendable research output.

This Italian university that stands tied with LSE at the eighth spot was founded in 1902 with a mission to advance social and economic progress across Europe with help of education. For over a hundred years, Bocconi has stayed true to the mission is ranked among the best European, as well as international universities. It has a global ranking of 11 for masters in management, making it serious force in the world of business education.

 

10. University of Oxford

The Said Business School at the University of Oxford was re-branded in 1996 and offers a host of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Economics and Management. Graduate program like MBA, EMBA, and Diploma in Strategic Management and DPhil in Management studies are highly sought after, and attract talent from across the globe. The average fee for the school is $12k-$14k per annum.
