Punjab University (PU) Library Book Club arranged the book talk program. The two books of the month were “Munh wal Kaabay Shareef (Safar Nama e Hajj)” by renowned writer Mustansar Hussian Tarar and “Of Strangers and Bees: A Hayy Ibn Yaqzan tale” by Hamid Ismailov. Director Punjab University Institute of Urdu Language and Literature Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran presented the talk on Mustansar Hussain Tarar’s travelogue of Hajj. He narrated the literary style of the book and discussed the personal and social remunerations of this sacred journey along with sharing his personal experiences of this visit in the recent past.

He described the main plot and literary style of the novel which was about wisdom and self-realization. Punjab University’s Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani thanked the speakers and participants, especially a large number of online participants, for their lively contribution to the program.
