1500 Pakistanis studying in South Korea

Addressing a seminar held at Iqra University, Karachi, South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo said that there is scope for enhancing relations between Pakistan and South Korea in the field of education as well.

Pakistani students speak very good English and that is why 1500 Pakistani students are currently studying in South Korea. This indicates a very promising future for business relations between the two countries.

He was addressing a seminar on “Future Possibilities, Challenges and Opportunities of Pakistan-South Korea Business Relations” held at the campus. President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Idrees also addressed the gathering. South Korean Ambassador Suh Sangpyo said that South Korea, through its Economic Development and Cooperation Fund (EDCF), is one of the top five infrastructure projects in Pakistan.

Dr. Wasim Qazi, Vice Chancellor, Iqra University, said that they should play a vital role in uniting the universities of South Korea and Pakistan. We’ve recently launched Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship and Innovation programs. We welcome joint research projects, faculty exchanges and student exchanges, and joint degree programs between Iqra University and well-known universities in Korea.
